Sporting CP acknowledged that they would be open to Viktor Gyokeres leaving. They will not, however, allow him to leave in the January 2025 transfer market.
One of the fiercest strikers in Europe right now is Viktor Gyokeres, a Sporting CP bomber.
His hat-trick during Sporting CP’s 4-1 Champions League victory over Man City served as evidence of this.
even though Sporting defeated Estrela Amadora 5-1 in the Portuguese League and Viktor Gyokeres had previously scored a quattrick.
Viktor Gyokeres has now scored 23 goals in 18 games across all competitive competitions thanks to this appalling record.
Top European clubs were unavoidably interested in signing him because of his outstanding performance in front of the opponent’s goal.
It is well known that Sporting, the owner club, set a hefty asking price for the Swedish striker.
An article in The Telegraph claims that they paid their star striker a pittance of 83 million pounds, or Rp 1.68 trillion.
Sporting is prepared to release Gyokeres, though, if a team is prepared to pay 63 million pounds to redeem him.
They just do not want to sell Gyokeres in the transfer market in January 2025.
Varandas, the club’s sports president, made this point clear.
Varandas said that if Gyokeres chose to go, his club would be open to it, provided their demands were fulfilled.
According to BolaSport.com, Varandas stated, “I can not promise anything,” in reference to Fabrizio Romano’s remark on X (Twitter).
“If he wants to leave, he will leave if a team arrives and pays his release clause.”
Varandas went on, “But I do not think that will happen in January.”
Gyokeres continues to savor his lovely moments at Jose Avalade Stadium.
