The FIFA Best Men’s Player of the Year award went to Vinicius Jr.
Vinicius Jr., a winger for Real Madrid and Brazil, won the Fifa Best Awards’ men’s player of the year award.
After losing to Rodri of Manchester City. The 24-year-old and his team did not attend the recent Ballon d’Or event; instead. He accepted this award in Doha.
With 24 goals and 11 assists. Vinicius was a major contributor to Real Madrid’s 2023–24 Champions League and La Liga winning campaign.

The two most coveted football awards are the Fifa Best Award and the Ballon d’Or.
This was Vinicius’ first FIFA prize. The previous two had gone to Lionel Messi and the two before that to Robert Lewandowski.

Both the manager and captain of Brazil opted for Vinicius. While their Spanish counterparts chose Dani Carvajal, a right-back for Real Madrid.
The men’s team of the year had five players from the Premier League, five from Real Madrid (including the retired Toni Kroos), and one from Barcelona.
Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez, Manchester City’s Ruben Dias, Arsenal’s William Saliba, Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rudiger, Jude Bellingham, Kroos, Rodri, Erling Haaland, Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. were among the players chosen.
Martinez helped Argentina win the Copa America, earning him the title of goalie of the year.
At the Ballon d’Or and Fifa Best awards, the 32-year-old has already taken home the best goalkeeper trophy twice.
A stunning Garnacho receives the Puskas Award.
Alejandro Garnacho, a winger for Manchester United, received the Puskas Award for greatest men’s goal of the year in November 2023 after his incredible bicycle kick in their 3-0 victory over Everton.

The majority of past Fifa Best Awards winners have been Premier League managers, including Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp twice, Claudio Ranieri, and Pep Guardiola last year.
