Spurs cause Son’s contract has been extended by Tottenham by one year, till the summer of 2026.
The 32-year-old has made 431 appearances for Spurs since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, scoring 169 goals.
In 320 Premier League games, the South Korea international has 125 goals and 68 assists.
He played for Spurs, which finished fifth in the Premier League the previous season and advanced to the team’s first Champions League final in 2019.
With five goals and six assists in 17 Premier League games, Son has helped Tottenham reach 12th place this season.
The news was made by the north London team before Wednesday’s home leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool.
