Nadal on his career: “Just a youngster who pursued their goals”
The tennis legend Rafael Nadal says he wants to be known as
a kid who pursued their goals” as he bids the game a heartfelt farewell.

“I consider myself really fortunate to have had the chance to live this life.
And tennis has allowed me to have many memorable experiences.
When I was younger, I pursued my aspirations and put in a lot of effort to get to where I am now.
“I want to be known mostly as a decent person from a modest Mallorcan community.”
In the first match of the quarterfinal match
