Much of the US is on high alert due to a severe winter storm.
Tens of millions of Americans are preparing for a massive winter storm. That may deliver the lowest temperatures and most snowfall in more than ten years.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), 30 states are under a weather alert as the storm. Which began in the midsection of the US, moves eastward over the next few days.
