Guardiola Says Walker Wants
Guardiola says Walker wants to “explore” leaving Man City.
If Kyle Walker, an England defender. Decides to leave Manchester City during this month’s transfer window, manager Pep Guardiola says he will not stop him.
Despite Guardiola beginning with just two recognized defenders. Walker was left out of the City squad for their 8-0 FA Cup third-round victory over League Two Salford.
There are still 18 months left on the 34-year-old England international’s deal.

Walker had first requested to leave City following their historic 2023 Treble triumph, Guardiola added. According to Guardiola, Walker was approached by German powerhouse Bayern Munich. Who expressed interest in signing him but were unable to meet City’s asking.
