Jordi is one of 27 players called up to defend the Indonesian National Team against Japan and Saudi Arabia. are a continuation of Group C of the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian Zone.
The two matches will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta. The Indonesian National Team will first meet Japan on November 15, then host Saudi Arabia on November 19, 2024.
Jordi revealed his current condition after returning from an ankle injury that he had suffered. The 32-year-old player admitted that his recovery from the injury was going well. He has returned to training with his club Johor Darul Takzim.
“I feel very happy, I can now join the training with the team, I have returned from injury,” said Jordi as quoted from the JDTTV YouTube channel, Friday (8/11/2024).

“Honestly, after being with the national team, it was quite tough because I had a problem with my ankle. But now every day it’s getting better, so it’s really fun,” continued the Spanish-blooded player.
Jordi can’t wait to return to defending Johor Darul Takzim and the Indonesian National Team. The matches against Japan and Saudi Arabia could be an opportunity for him to show off again.
“I can’t wait to return to the team, and also the national team,” he said.
Meanwhile, in Johor Darul Takzim’s last match, Jordi still hasn’t had the chance to play. He sat on the bench when JDT beat Ulsan HD 3-0 in the fourth match of Group A of the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League, Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
